The caster may use an enchanted Bloodstone talisman to dull the pains of the hunger for a night.
The caster must have in their posession a piece of bloodstone enchanted through the Bless Bloodstone spell. This amulet when worn next to the skin will help cravings for blood, but if the Hunger becomes ovewhelming it may be used to cast this spell. The caster draws the rune for "blood" on the stone in fruit juice, plant sap or blood from a piece of meat. The stone is then placed in the mouth of the target vampire while the caster says a prayer to one of the deities of vampirism who they regularly make offerings to (Kali, Gelal, Itzapapalotl, Hecate, Anubis, Osiris, Hades, Orpheus, etc.) . The caster essentally asks the deity to "feed" the target vampire temporarily. If sucessful, the bloodstone will seem to ooze a small quantity of fluid into the target's mouth, and their Hunger will be made tolerable for the night. It must be stressed that this is a temporary measure only and must not be cast except in emergencies. It is also wise to immediately make an offering to the deity supplicated as soon as is physically possible.
